My ex would rather practice theory test
Last week I broke up with my boyfriend. We had been together for three years, but to be honest, our attitudes to life were completely different. I think that you only live once so why spend your life playing a role somebody else has told you to play? I like travelling, parties, getting to know people. My ex spends most of his time in his bedroom. He usually just sits there and revises for tests. During the last two months or so, the only thing that he did was practice theory test. His parents paid for his driving course and now he doesn"t want to disappoint them. I can understand that, but revising one and the same thing over and over again will not help much, I"m afraid. All of our classmates have noticed he studies too much. He doesn"t even come to our parties any more. Can you imagine how I feel when all my friends ask me where my boyfriend is? Well, now I will have to tell them I don"t have a boyfriend any more. Let him sit in his room, let him practice theory test, let him swot for exams. Let him spend his whole life there! I no longer care. It"s Thursday, and Friday is not usually very difficult at school. I guess I"ll go to the cinema with a new guy I"ve just met. He"s much more handsome and much more interesting than my ex.
